Story background: This is a furniture factory. Comparing with its peers, it has a small area and only two production lines. The inspector’s first impression of the factory is not very good. The inspector took about 4 hours to do quality check with the products. After the inspection, he saw the quality problems in the factory and verified his own ideas. The simple folding chairs had several kinds of problems and the proportion is not low! One of the most important problems is that the chair is not stable. The maximum gap between the chair foot and the ground is 6mm. This is a chair and the basic function is to make consumers sit comfortably and securely. Then, the inspector found that the seat cushion edge of a chair was uneven in color. After careful examination, it was discovered that there was something wrong with the sponge.The sponges used by the factory are mixed and shaped with some broken sponges, so some dark sponges penetrate through the light PVC material to make the cushion seen uneven in color and have bumps on the surface. In addition, when printing,problems such as burrs, scratches, bumps, and rust have seriously affected the appearance of the product. The factory must rework and ask the third-party inspection company come to do quality check again to prevent defective products from circulating to the market. As a kind of furniture, folding chairs should first have the function to meet the needs of consumers. When the needs are not met, the function of products will be questioned. In addition to satisfying the function, some external structures of folding chair products should also have aesthetic function so that consumers can see the whole product intuitively. For example, the parts in Chinese traditional chairs,not only strengthens the force between various parts, but also plays a very strong decorative role.
Even the simple products of furniture, if quality check is not carried out, the small but unignorable problems may not be discovered. And the defect problems will affect purchasing desire of consumers every moment. Are those manufacturers and brands willing to ignore it?
